The Roco 52615 DSB MY is an H0-scale model of the Danish State Railways’ classic Nohab diesel locomotive, finished in the DSB livery of Era IV. It features digital control and realistic sound functions.

Prototype history

  • Arrived in Helsingør: 8 March 1956
  • West: 1956–1979
  • Design livery applied: 1978
  • Together with MY 1142, it was one of only two MY locomotives to receive red buffer beams
  • Snowed in at Svendborg during the winter of 1978/79; engine damaged by frost
  • Returned to service: 4 January 1980
  • West: 1978–1993
  • Withdrawn from service: 1993
  • Used for a fire drill in Fredericia: 1995
  • Aarhus: 1995–1997
  • Sold to DJK for spare parts: 1998
  • Tønder: 1998–2000
  • Scrapped in Tønder: 2000
