Noch 22131

Illuminated Christmas Tree, height 120 mm

Noch 22131 is a popular, illuminated Christmas tree designed as a decoration for model railway layouts and winter village displays. It serves as a cozy centerpiece for a town square or a living room scene.
Here are the key details about the Noch 22131:
  • Size and Appearance: The tree is a green fir tree standing 12 cm (approx. 4.7 inches) tall. It features 30 built-in micro LEDs that emit a warm, yellow-white light, perfectly mimicking a classic Christmas light string.
  • Scale Compatibility: Noch markets this tree as "scale-neutral". While it is primarily recommended for H0 scale (1:87), its height allows it to look great in other scales depending on how large you want the tree to appear in your landscape.
  • Power Supply: The tree connects directly to the light output of a standard 16 V model train transformer (suitable for both AC and DC). Alternatively, it can run on a 12 V power supply or a 9 V battery.
  • Important Wiring Note: The copper wires are insulated with a thin, clear lacquer to prevent short circuits. You must gently scrape or sand the lacquer off the very ends of the wire before soldering or connecting them to power, otherwise the lights will not turn on.
