Prototype

The EB series comprises electric locomotives utilized by the Danish State Railways. These locomotives are derived from the Siemens Vectron model. In 2018, DSB placed an order for 26 electric locomotives of this variant from Siemens. Primarily deployed for double-decker trains, they serve regional traffic routes on Zealand, aiming to supplant the aging ME series diesel locomotives.
