DB ICE2 3 wagon set

The **DB ICE 2** is a German high-speed electric train introduced in **1996** by Deutsche Bahn. Designed for speeds of up to **280 km/h**, it operates mainly on Germany’s high-speed network and connects major cities such as Berlin, Hanover, Frankfurt, and Munich.

Unlike the ICE 1, the ICE 2 is formed as a shorter half-train with one power car and a driving trailer. Two ICE 2 units can also be coupled together, allowing flexible operation and increased capacity.
