Overview:
The MY1138 locomotive was part of the NOHAB series, produced under license from EMD starting in 1949. These locomotives were modeled after the Australian B Class but adapted to European standards with a narrower clearance gauge and UIC-compliant features. NOHAB locomotives served state railways in Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Hungary. Many remain active on private railways across Europe, including in Germany, Sweden, and Kosovo.
